By using the platform(s), you indicate your unconditional acceptance of these terms of use (the ‘Terms and Conditions’). We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to update or revise these Terms and Conditions. The continued use of the website following the posting of any changes to the Terms and Conditions constitutes acceptance of those changes.
These Terms and Conditions set out the legal terms that apply to your use of our website http://www.miinto.co.uk, any of its sub-domains and/or any other websites operated by us or on our behalf and any mobile device application or desktop application developed by us or on our behalf and the other services that we provide.
Please make sure that you understand these Terms and Conditions before using any of the services, and note that by using the services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions, you will not be able to use our services and you should leave the website immediately. If you continue to use the website or if you order products, we will take this as your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
When we mention "Miinto", "we", "us", "our", “the Platform” “site” or “our website”, we refer to miinto.co.uk or, where relevant, its affiliates. Where "you" or "your" is mentioned we refer to you, the person accessing the website and using the services offered through the website. When you shop at Miinto, you are shopping for products from the best collection of fashion boutiques and brands around the globe. When mentioning “our partner” or “partner boutique” we refer to the boutique(s) or brand(s) in partnership with Miinto providing stock, product information, supplying the products and processing returns of the product(s) purchased by you from the website. You buy the products from Miinto, we will facilitate any needed dialogue between you and our partners.
The displaying of products on the online store is not an offer, but an encouragement to make offers. A binding agreement is only made when you receive an order confirmation.
2) Using the Platforms
(a) www.miinto.co.uk is open 24 hours a day, which means that you can shop at almost any time. However, we may occasionally take down the website due to maintenance. You can only make purchases when the website is open and accessible.
(b) To place an order through the website, you must be over eighteen (18) years of age and in possession of a valid payment card accepted by us. If you have not yet turned eighteen (18) years of age you can, however, still buy products if you have obtained consent from your guardian or are otherwise legally entitled to make the purchase. You agree that any information you submit to the platform including personal information shall be true, accurate, current and complete, that you are over 18 years of age, that you are authorised to use your selected method of payment and that there are sufficient funds in the relevant account to cover the cost of your order.
(c) Miinto takes all reasonable care, to keep your personal information including the details of your order and payment secure, however we will not be liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any personal information you provide when accessing or placing an order on the Platform. For more information on how we use and store your personal information, please refer to our Privacy & Cookie policy.
(d) By completing the check-out process and placing an order, you are offering to purchase the products. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price and stock availability, and we may need to cancel your order or part of your order, if the product is either not available, or not available at the order price which is determined by the relevant partner boutique.
(e)You can only place an order on Miinto if you are a private consumer. We are unable to sell products displayed on our website to businesses (and will therefore also be unable to supply VAT invoices in relation to any Miinto orders). The offers on our website are directed exclusively at consumers who conclude the purchase for a purpose that cannot be attributed to their commercial or professional activity. By placing an order on the Miinto, you declare that you are acting exclusively for private purposes.
(f) If an item you ordered is cancelled or returned, Miinto may at its discretion, send you an email with sourced alternatives available on the website.
3) User Account
(a) In order to use some of the functionality of the Website, you will be required to sign-up, register and receive an account through the Website (an Account).
(b) As part of the Account registration process and as part of your continued use of the Website, you are required to provide personal information and details, such as your email address, first and last name, preferred username, a secure password, billing, postal and physical addresses, mobile phone number, payment details, ratings and reviews, verified identifications, and other information as may be determined by us from time to time.
(c)You agree that you’re solely responsible for:
(i) maintaining the confidentiality and security of your Account information and your password; and
(ii) any activities and those of any third party that occur through your Account, whether those activities have been authorised by you or not.
(d) You warrant that any information you give in the course of completing the Account registration process will always be accurate, honest, correct and up to date.
(e) Once you complete the Account registration process, we may, in our absolute discretion, choose to accept you as a registered user within the Website and provide you with an Account.
(f) We may suspend or cancel your Account for any reason, including for any failure to comply with the Terms and Conditions.
(g) We will not be responsible to you for, and expressly disclaim any liability for, any cost, loss, damages or expenses arising out of a failure by you to maintain the security of your Account information or your password.
(h) You agree to release Miinto from any and all liability for any loss or damage that arises out of or in connection with information you provide that is not accurate, honest, correct or up-to-date.
(i) (Account Cancellation by you) You are responsible for the cancellation of your Account. You can cancel your Account at any time by using the functionality provided on the Website.
(j) (Account Cancellation by us) To the extent permitted by law, we reserve the right to terminate your access to any or all of the Website at any time without notice, for any reason, provided that we refund to you any fees for products which you have paid for and not received. We may also terminate your access to any or all of the Website at any time without notice without issuing a refund if you breach any provision of these Terms and Conditions.
4) User obligations
As a user, you agree:
(a) not to intimidate, harass, impersonate, stalk, threaten, bully or endanger any other user or distribute unsolicited commercial content, junk mail, spam, bulk content or harassment;
(b) to not share your Account with any other person and that any use of your Account by any other person is strictly prohibited. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorised use of your Account, password or email, or any other breach or potential breach of the Platform’s security;
(c) to not use the Platform for any purpose other than for the purpose of making arrangements to purchase products, including:
(i) you must not use the Platform in a manner that is illegal or fraudulent or facilitates illegal or fraudulent activity (including requesting or accepting a job or a sale which includes illegal goods, activities or purposes); and
(ii) you must not use the Platform in connection with any commercial or money making or other promotional or marketing endeavours except those that are endorsed herein, or as approved in writing by us;
(d) not to act in any way that may harm the reputation of Miinto or associated or interested parties or do anything at all contrary to the interests of Miinto or the Platform;
(e) you must not make any automated use of the Platform and you must not copy, reproduce, translate, adapt, vary or modify the Platform without our express written consent;
(f) that we may change any features of the Platform or the products offered through the Platform at any time without notice to you;
(g) that information given to you through the Platform, by us or any Partner boutique, is general in nature and we take no responsibility for anything caused by any actions you take in reliance on that information.
5) Products & pricing
(a) All prices displayed on www.miinto.co.uk are in Pound Sterling (£) including VAT and import duties. Delivery costs are not included in the prices and will be charged in addition.
(b) Miinto takes all reasonable measures to ensure the accuracy of product details, descriptions and prices shown on the website, as this information is provided to us by the Partner boutiques, there may be cases where errors occur. If we discover an error in the price of a product, we shall be under no obligation to fulfil an order for this product at the incorrect price and reserve the right to cancel such an order that has been accepted or is in transit. In case of error, you will be informed as soon as possible and you will not be charged for the product.
(c) Products that are in your basket are not reserved and can be purchased by other users. We will do our best to remove from the website, listing of any products which have sold out at the earliest possible. As there is a delay between the time an order is placed, and the time when an order is accepted, the stock availability relating to a particular product may change. If a product you have ordered becomes out of stock after we have accepted your order, then Miinto shall not be liable for being unable to provide that product. If such a situation arises, then we will notify you as soon as possible and you will not be charged for the out of stock product.
(d) Disclaimer of warranties
The website, its content and all texts, images, merchandise and other information on, accessible through the website are provided on an ‘as available’ and ‘as is’ basis without warranty of any kind, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Specifically, but not limited to, Miinto does not warrant that:
(i) the content and information available on this website is free of errors;
(ii) the functions contained on this website will be uninterrupted or free of errors;
(iii) defects will be corrected.
(e) Any offer, discount or promotional discount (the “Promotion”) offered on the Platform are valid only for use as part of a purchase made via miinto.co.uk. No cash alternative will be offered on any Promotion. The Promotion cannot be combined with any other coupon, offer or promotional discount and it must be redeemed by the date published (if applicable and provided). We will under no circumstances be able to honour incorrect promotions and discount codes offered by third parties who we are not affiliated with and/or have not agreed to run a Promotion with.
6) Payments & taxes
(a) We may use third-party payment providers (Payment Providers) to collect payments for products, including PayPal. The processing of payments by the Payment Provider will be, in addition to these terms, subject to the terms, conditions and privacy policies of the Payment Provider and we are not liable for the security or performance of the Payment Provider. We reserve the right to correct, or to instruct our Payment Provider to correct, any errors or mistakes in collecting your payment.
(b) In a credit card transaction, you must use your own credit card. Miinto will not be liable for any credit card fraud. The liability to use a card fraudulently will be on the user and the onus to 'prove otherwise' shall be exclusively on the user.
When you choose PayPal as your payment method, a third party payment fee will be applied. The fee will be visible in check-out. The third party payment fee is non-refundable and will not be refunded if a purchase is returned.
(c) Miinto gift cards
A digital gift card (“eGift Card”) purchased on Miinto is valid for 1 year from the date it is issued. A eGift Card purchased on www.miinto.co.uk may exclusively be used on www.miinto.co.uk. A Miinto eGift Card cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash and cash refunds will not be available for products purchased with a Miinto eGift Card.
A gift card cannot be used in conjunction with other gift cards, vouchers or discount codes. When you use a Miinto eGift Card, the amount of your purchase will be deducted from the total balance on the Miinto eGift Card. If your purchase total is less than the value of the eGift Card, any balance will be left as credit for you on your Miinto eGift Card to spend in the future. Upon return and refund of product(s) purchased with a Miinto eGift Card, you will be provided with a new gift card code with a balance totalling the products returned and refunded.
In the event that a Miinto eGift Card is lost or stolen, it cannot be replaced, refunded, cancelled in any way or exchanged for a new gift card code. Risk in the eGift Card is passed to you upon receipt of the email, and Miinto is not responsible for any use of the funds on any Miinto eGift Card(s) without your knowledge or consent. Further action may be taken where the fraudulent use of a credit card is suspected.
(d) When you purchase products from the website, Miinto UK Ltd will invoice you directly for the product and associated delivery services. Where the products are in the UK at the point of sale, Miinto UK Limited will invoice you directly for the product and associated delivery services. In such cases, the provisions of Article 14(2)(c) and Article 28 (as applicable) of the EU VAT Directive 2006/112/EC will apply for EU VAT purposes and section 47 (as applicable) of the UK VAT Act 1994, will apply for UK VAT purposes. This does not change the underlying contract governing the supply of products from the Partner boutique to you and all your statutory rights are unaffected.
A binding agreement is only made when you receive an order confirmation. We reserve the right not to submit your order to the Partner boutique, and we reserve the right not to accept your order if, for example, the product ordered is out of stock or is otherwise not available, or if we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment or if you do not meet the eligibility criteria (e.g. you are under 18).
7) Shipping & Delivery
(a) Delivery costs are not included in the product price and will be charged in addition, and any such delivery costs will be visible at check-out. Our standard delivery method is free for orders totalling more than £200. The delivery costs (which will include VAT charged by us) will vary depending on the products that you have ordered and your delivery address. The delivery methods available for your purchase, will be visible at check-out.
We do not facilitate deliveries to Channel Islands & Northern Ireland, at this moment in time.
(b) The estimated delivery time of the product(s) will be stated in your shipping confirmation email. We will try to ensure that your order is delivered by the estimated delivery time, but there may be circumstances where delivery is delayed because of events beyond our reasonable control. If this happens, we will try to arrange for your product(s) to be delivered as soon as possible, but we will not be liable to you for any losses encountered as a result of such delay. In certain circumstances, our delivery partner may provide you with optional services when delivering your order, such as:
(i) signature release: opting out of the requirement to provide a signature on delivery;
(ii) leave with neighbour, reception or security: redirecting the delivery to an alternative designated receiver;
(iii) reschedule delivery date: selecting a new delivery date that suits you better; and/or
(iv) redirecting to a collection point: collecting your package from a collection point nearby.
By selecting any of these services, including through any default preferences you may have selected with our delivery partner separately, you acknowledge and agree that Miinto shall bear no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage that may result from delivering your order in that way.
(c) If a parcel is returned to the sender as a result of, you refusing to receive the parcel upon delivery or not picking up the parcel, we reserve the right to charge you for the expenses incurred.
8) Returns, cancellation & refunds
(a) You automatically have a 14-day ‘cooling-off period’, starting from the day after you, or a person on your behalf, receives the product you have purchased on the website. Returned products must comply with our returns policy:
The products must be unworn, without damage and unused
- Must be returned with all tags incl. any Miinto tags attached in its original position
- When provided, branded boxes, dust bags and documents, must be placed in the box with the item returned
- When trying on footwear, it is recommended to try on soft surfaces to avoid marks on the soles, and please avoid damaging the branded shoe box
- Lingerie and swimwear must only be tried on over your own clothing. Return of products that are worn or soiled will not be accepted.
- All returns must be packaged inside protective packaging, branded packaging eg. boxes and bags may not be used as packaging material for shipping.
Please treat the products with care when trying them on, and return them in the same condition you received them. After you receive your products, you may only handle the products in a way that makes it possible to determine their nature, characteristics and the way they work. If the product has been used beyond what is described above, we consider it to be used, which means that if you return your purchase, you may only be refunded part or none of the purchase sum, depending on the product’s commercial value.
(b) To cancel a purchase that has been placed, please notify us as soon as possible by our contact information can be found in our Help Center. If you choose to cancel more than 24 hours after the purchase was made, we reserve the right to charge you a cancellation fee.
(c) To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must clearly notify us of this no later than 14 days after you have, or a person on your behalf, has received the item. To return you must clearly inform us, preferably by:

- email or chat which can be found in our Help Center
If you withdraw an order (or part of an order) during the cooling-off period, we expect you to send the products back to the relevant partner boutique as soon as possible after notifying us, and no later than 14 days after you have notified us of the wish to return the purchase.
(d) The product(s) must be returned to the partner boutique that originally provided the products or at such address as may be intimated to you on the return label. You will be provided with a return label to ship the products, either enclosed in the parcel or at the last step of our return form: https://www.miinto.co.uk/rma-product. A return shipping fee of £10 per item will be deducted from the total amount refunded.
For the return delivery, you must ensure that you have packaged the products in an appropriate and secure manner. Namely, you yourself are responsible for the products until the partner boutique receives the products back. Therefore, we ask that you save the proof of shipment (receipt of shipping) and the tracking number. Once the product(s) are returned it is our partner boutique that handles your return.
Customers are liable for any returns made at their own expense, which do not use our standard return service. We and our partner boutiques do not accept delivery of packages where the shipping fees are to be paid by the recipient on delivery.
(e) Refunds
Once your return has been received by the partner boutique, it can take up to 10 working days to examine and process your return. When your return has been accepted, we will refund all payments received from you, including shipping costs (except, any additional costs that may have been added due to your own selection of another type of delivery than the cheapest form of standard delivery we offer) using the original method of payment. Additionally, a return shipping fee of £10 per item will be deducted from the total amount refunded. A refund generally takes up to 5 working days before it is visible on your account, this is dependent on your payment provider, and it is important to note that Miinto has no control over this process.
In the event that the product has lost value for which you are liable, this loss of value is deducted from the amount refunded.
(f) If an item is returned, Miinto may at its discretion, send you an email with sourced alternatives offered on the website.
9) Intellectual Property
(a) Miinto retains ownership of the Platform and all materials on the Platform (including text, graphics, logos, design, icons, images, sound and video recordings, pricing, downloads and software) (Platform Content) and reserves all rights in any intellectual property rights owned or licensed by it not expressly granted to you.
(b) You may make a temporary electronic copy of all or part of the Platform for the sole purpose of viewing it. You must not otherwise reproduce, transmit, adapt, distribute, sell, modify or publish the Platform or any Platform Content without our prior written consent or as permitted by law.
10) Links to Other Websites
(a) The Platform may contain links to other websites that are not our responsibility. We have no control over the content of any linked websites, and we are not responsible for that content.
(b) Inclusion of any linked website on the Platform does not imply our approval or endorsement of the linked website.
11) Security
We do not accept responsibility for loss or damage to computer systems, mobile phones or other electronic devices arising in connection with use of the Platform. You should take your own precautions to ensure that the process that you employ for accessing the Platform does not expose you to risk of viruses, malicious computer code or other forms of interference.
12) Liability
(a) To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Miinto limits all liability to any person for loss or damage of any kind, however arising whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statute, equity, indemnity or otherwise, arising from or relating in any way to this Platform, these terms or any products or services provided by Miinto, is limited to the greater of:
(i) the total Fees paid to Miinto by you in the 6 months preceding the first event giving rise to the relevant liability; and
(ii) £100GBP.
(b) All express or implied representations and warranties in relation to products and the associated services performed by Miinto are, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, excluded.
(c) (Indemnity) You indemnify Miinto and its employees, agents and Partner boutiques in respect of all liability for loss, damage or injury which is or may be suffered by any person arising from your or your representatives’:
(i) breach of any of these terms;
(ii) use of the Platform; or
(iii) use of any products, or other goods or services provided by Miinto.
(d) (Consequential loss) To the maximum extent permitted by law, under no circumstances will Miinto be liable for any incidental, special or consequential loss or damages, or damages for loss of data, business or business opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings, profits or revenue arising under or in connection with this Platform, these Terms and Conditions or any products or services provided by Miinto (except to the extent this liability cannot be excluded under law.
(e) Nothing in these Terms and Conditions or any order will exclude or limit a party’s liability for fraud or intentional unlawful conduct by a party, or death or personal injury resulting from a party’s negligence.
(f) To the extent that the provisions of any applicable law shall impose restrictions on the extent to which liability can be excluded under these Terms and Conditions or an Order, including, for the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of sections 3, 6 and 11 of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 in the UK (and its equivalent in any other jurisdiction) relating to the requirement of reasonableness, the exclusions set out in this clause will be limited in accordance with such restrictions. However, any exclusions of liability that are not affected by such restrictions will remain in full force and effect.
13) Complaints
(a) Your purchase is covered by the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations (and other related regulations), including the provisions concerning defects. This means that you can either have a defective product repaired, exchanged, get part of or the full product value back, depending on the specific situation. It is a requirement that the complaint is legitimate and that the defect has not occurred as a result of wrongful use of the product or other damaging behaviour. Please note that products which are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear; by accident; or through misuse will not be considered faulty, will not be accepted and will be shipped back to you.
(b) You must contact us promptly and advertise within a "reasonable time" after you have discovered the lack of the item. We recommend that you complain as soon as possible and within 2 months after the error was discovered. You can submit a complaint by using our standard form or contacting us by email info@miinto.co.uk.
(c) In the event that it is not deemed a legitimate complaint, you must pay all expenses for shipping yourself, including our shipping fees for returning the product after examining it, and we are also entitled to charge you a fee of up to £20 for examining the product. For the return delivery, you must ensure that you have packed the products in an appropriate and secure manner. Namely, you yourself are responsible for the package/ products until the partner boutique receives them back. We do not accept delivery of packages where the shipping fees are to be paid by the recipient on delivery.
(d) A product purchased on Miinto may not be eligible for refund, part-refund, repair or replacement, if it;
(i) was described as faulty upon purchase. Any pre-existing damage or wear and tear on Vintage and Pre-owned products are detailed in the product description and are exempted from any warranties or guarantee.
(ii) have been damaged by trying to repair the item yourself, or getting someone else to repair it.
(iii) has been altered
14) Privacy & Cookie Policy
You can read about Miinto's handling of your personal data and your rights in Miinto’s privacy policy.
Your membership data is stored with Miinto. The data that is stored with Miinto will also be used for statistical and marketing-related purposes.
You are at any time entitled to gain insight into what data Miinto is processing about you. You can ask to have the data that Miinto has on you corrected, blocked or deleted. You can also gain information on the identity of those receiving your data and other relevant information about the processing of your data. You can contact Miinto at dataprotection@miinto.com for more information.
You can at any time withdraw your consent by contacting Miinto at dataprotection@miinto.com or follow the instructions provided in communications from Miinto.
Additionally, as stated above, Miinto does not share your data with other companies without your consent, unless this is required by legislation or you have asked to receive specific information.
15) Signing up to news from Miinto
(a) By subscribing to the newsletter, you consent to Miinto UK Ltd sending you marketing materials by email, SMS and MMS relating to products marketed and sold directly by Miinto, including clothing, bags, accessories, bicycles, outdoor products, household products, kitchen and tableware, furniture, beauty, skin and hair care products, offers, sales, contests, events and other similar marketing activities. You also give consent to receive service emails about interrupted ordering processes.
(b) When signing up for the newsletter you automatically participate in our competition to win a £100 gift card. The winner is drawn randomly at the end of each month and will be contacted directly by Miinto by email. Any such competition(s) may be regulated by separate terms and conditions, which will be intimated to the participants of the competition.

16) Fair Use Policy
We strive to always offer our customers the best possible experience when visiting our site. Our Fair Use Policy is a way for us to keep offering great deals by limiting behaviour that exploits our services at the expense of our other customers, our partner boutiques and our business.
If our systems detect abnormal behaviour or we have reasonable suspicion of abuse, fraud, or otherwise exploitative use of services offered on Miinto, we may take action to prevent such use. Our actions may include refusal or cancellation of orders and suspension or termination of your account with Miinto.
If your account has been blocked and you think we have made a mistake, then please contact our customer service team at fairuse@miinto.com.
We identify abnormal and suspicious behaviour through a number of different factors relating to your interactions with the Miinto platform, including, but not limited to order history, communication with Miinto representatives, return patterns, use of the platform and more. If such behaviour is identified, we reserve the right to either temporarily or permanently prevent you from entering into transactions and/or suspend any access to your Miinto account.
17) Venue and choice of law
Purchasing product(s) through www.miinto.co.uk is subject to laws of England and Wales. Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or its subject matter or formation.
