Made in Brazil. Suede is the reverse side of cowhide that is sanded to give it a soft and flexible appearance. Sourced from Rio Grande do Sul farms. Tanned in Brazil without dangerous or prohibited chemicals. VEJA uses compliant dyes. Water is used moderately during the suede tanning process. This suede is then coated with PFC-free hydrophobic oils to protect the sneakers from light rain. TIPS: Machine washing is not recommended as it may alter the properties of the different materials. Before first use, it is advised to waterproof the shoes with a suitable spray and repeat this process periodically.
